Champions Green BTO is one of the upcoming HDB BTO MAY 2019 Sales Launch situated in Woodlands town. Champions Green BTO will be located just off Seletar Expressway, in between Woodlands Ave 1 and 2, and bounded by Champions Way and Woodlands Drive 17.
Champions Green BTO comprises of six residential blocks that are 10 storeys high. There will be a total of 722 units of 2-room Flexi, 3-, 4-, and 5-room flats. The development’s name describes the green spaces in the neighbourhood estate that are designed to promote healthy and active lifestyles for residential families.

Champions Green is situated near walking distance to Woodlands MRT Station, which is bounded by the North-East Line (NEL). Being part of the Woodlands town, residents can expect future development that will improve the livelihood of Woodlands Town, such as the completion of Woodlands South MRT station that is set to open at the end of 2019.
It will be bounded to the Thomson–East Coast MRT line, which after future phase openings will allow passengers to travel from North to South East of Singapore.
The Woodlands HDB estate is home to an estimated 242,500 HDB residents with about 68,153 flats (as of 31 March 2018). With about 3.56 average household size, Woodlands has the second largest household size amongst all HDB estates, as such the town will have more crowd of children and elderly residents staying together under one roof.

2. Electrical Substation (ESS)
The only ESS is located at south west corner in the carpark of the HDB BTO May 2019, with closest residential block being Blk 567A Stack 125 and 127. The ESS is carefully located within the carpark itself, with a road in between.
3. Entrance/Exit of Carpark
The carpark located at the middle of Champions Green is a 6-levels multi-storey and comes with an accessible roof garden at the top 7th storey.
Car entrance and exit for the carpark are accessible at the middle of Woodlands BTO May, near Blk 567A (Stack 125, 127) and Blk 567B (Stack 151, 153).
Considering a 50% vehicle ownership among the units, there may be around 360 vehicles passing by, as such interested residents should be noted on the sound pollution.
4. Position of Rising and Setting Sun
The rightmost residential units (stack 161, 163, 165, 167, 168, 171, 191, 193, 195, 197, 199, 225, 227, 229, 233, 235 and 237) will experience the morning sunrise while the leftmost units (stack 125, 127, 129, 151, 153, 157 and 159) will have their share of the evening sunset. History of Woodlands Town
Comprising of Woodlands, Admiralty and Marsiling estates, the town was named Woodlands as it gave the appearance of a heavily-wooded area when viewed from the Johor side of the Straits. The area consisting of modern-day Woodlands Town first witnessed the opening of the Johor-Singapore Causeway in 1923. Early Woodlands consisted of villages and squatters where residents made their living mostly as small-time shopkeepers and vegetable farmers in the Marsiling area, while rubber plantations and poultry farms dot the landscape in Jalan Ulu Sembawang where modern-day Admiralty is located.
In the 1970s and 1980s, kampungs in the area were relocated to make way for industrialisation and the development of Woodlands Town. The first HDB flats were built from 1972 in the northern part of Marsiling, and the Woodlands Bus Interchange located at Woodlands Centre Road was built in 1980.
The town grew rapidly in the 1990s, and Woodlands was earmarked for extensive development to transform it into a regional centre for the northern part of Singapore in 1997. Today, Woodlands has grown to become a town with large open spaces, grasslands, parks, recreational facilities, and communal gardens.

Causeway Point is located north of Champions Green, in the town centre of Woodlands, beside the Woodlands MRT station and the former underground Woodlands Regional Bus Interchange.
