A prime residential site at Cuscaden Road in the Orchard area was launched for sale on Tuesday (27 Feb) under the confirmed list of the first half 2018 Government Land Sales (GLS) Programme, said the Urban Redevelopment Authority (URA).
Measuring approximately 61,596 sq ft, the land parcel has a maximum gross floor area of 172,470 sq ft. The 99-year leasehold site could potentially yield 170 private residential units in the popular District 10, which is accessible via Orchard Boulevard, Tanglin Road and Grange Road.
The nearby amenities such as Ion Orchard, Wheelock Place, Shaw House, Tangs and Tanglin Mall are within short walking distance.
The site is easily accessible to the future Orchard Boulevard MRT station which is part of the future Thomson-East Coast Line connecting onto Marina Bay.
URA said the tender for the Cuscaden Road site will close on 26 April and will be batched with two other residential sites at Silat Road and Mattar Road, which will be launched for sale in March.
